Sixteen pilots from Adelaide and Victoria gathered at the magnificent Constellation flying site for the annual S.A state champs.
Sunday's weather forecast was not looking favourable, so all pilots flew four rounds Saturday in case of a premature end to the contest due to inclement weather.Strong winds Saturday blew from the north east, however most pilot still managed to put together some nice flights. John Tonks returned to F3A after quite a number of years out, he's experience and skill certainly showed out in the conditions having put in some tidy flights with his electric powered Sebart angel.
Sunday morning after having early morning rain, the wind direction shifted to the west and the remaining flights were concluded by 2.00pm.
Thanks again to the connie club for the BBQ lunches, and thanks to Jeremy for another well run contest.
